Basic Boating Course

This unique study program covers the fundamental of boating. It is designed for skippers and crew of all types of watercraft. Topics covered will include:

- General information about boats and maintenance
- How to make your boating experience safer and more comfortable
- Tips on being a more courteous boat operator
- Laws and regulations to which boaters must adhere

 

America's Boating Course

abc3 coverAmerica's Boating Course provides you with basic boating knowledge to decide what type and size boat you need, what to do when meeting another boat in a crowded waterway, and how to recognize and handle hazards.  Become a more competent boater, learn from the best, and enroll in America's Boating Course today.

This course is offered as a classroom course or as an interactive, online home study course for people whose schedule and obligations would make it difficult to attend a classroom course. Successful completion meets the boating education requirements for operator permits of licensure in most states.

Many boat insurance companies will offer discounts on boating insurance to boaters who successfully complete America's Boating Course. And, this course provides a sound basis for continuing your recreational boating education.

Class will start on Monday, January 28,2019 at 6:30 PM.
This is for five weeks and ends up on February 25, 2019.

Eight hour ABC class for three Saturdays in April, 2019.
This class will be held at Beaver Park South Marina, 6101 West Erie Ave., Lorain OH 44053,
April 13th and 20th from 9:00AM to 4:00PM
and April 27th from 9:00AM to about 1:00PM
